About Boundary Fencing
Cedar, ornamental iron, vinyl, and chain-link fences built across the San Antonio Hill Country with every post set in concrete and every gate welded to swing true.
Why we set every post in concrete and weld every gate
Marcus Ruiz started Boundary Fencing in 2011 after watching too many San Antonio fences fail at the same two spots: the post that heaved out of the clay and the gate that sagged off a stapled rail. Marcus had run crews long enough to know the cause was never the cedar - it was contractors who set posts in plain dirt and screwed pickets to a flimsy 2x4 to call it a gate. So Boundary does it the slow way on purpose: we auger below the clay line, set every post in concrete and brace it plumb before the mix cures, and hang gates on a welded steel frame and a true hinge post. Fifteen years and 600-plus fence lines later, those lines are still dead straight and those gates still latch themselves shut. We build it right once so you stop thinking about your fence at all - that's the whole point.

How we work
- 1
Walk the line, free
We come out, measure your run, count the gates, and talk through cedar, iron, or vinyl right there in the yard.
- 2
Line-item quote in 48 hours
You get a written quote that breaks out posts, panels, gates, and haul-off, so the number never shifts mid-build.
- 3
Auger, set, and hang
We auger your line below the clay zone, set every post in concrete and brace it plumb, then hang welded gates that swing true.
- 4
Haul-off and clean sweep
We tear out and dispose of the old fence, then magnet-sweep the yard for stray nails before we leave.
